  7. All who are attempting to make this block multiple times and then incorporate it into an Irish Chain pattern -- it does NOT work. This is one block, but if you replicate it and put them all together, it's not an Irish Chain. It's a mish-mash of scattered and joined Xs that don't form the Irish Chain pattern at all. Shame on the original poster for not showing the entire completed project.

  8. This is meant to be used as a double nine patch which would mean alternating it with a solid fabric block of the same size.
